Born in Arezzo in 1977, Vittorio Grig̣lo moved to Rome where from an early age he performed as a soloist in the Sistine Chapel Choir.
At the age of thirteen he made is debut in the role of Pastorello in Tosca at the Rome Opera Theatre, directed by Daniel Oren.
He then began to study, improving with the help of Bass Danilo Rigosa, who still continues as his tutor.
In 1996 he won a scholarship at the 12th "R. and F. Mecenati" International Song Competition, which gives him a debut at just 19 in Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle. |
